1996 was the first year that the GTS was available. The horsepower on this car was increased from 400bhp to 450bhp. Aluminum suspension components replaced the previous steel control arms and cast iron knuckles which resulted in a reduction of weight. The 1996 Blue/White GTS is one of the most desireable Vipers.
